Delete Policy – Samply
At Samply, we value your trust and are committed to giving you full control over your personal information. We understand that circumstances may arise when you no longer wish to use our services and would like to delete your account and associated data. This Delete Policy explains how you can request account deletion, what happens to your data after deletion, and the rights you retain under applicable data protection laws.
1. Requesting Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your Samply account and all related data, you may follow these steps:
- Open the Samply mobile app and log in to your account.
- Tap the menu (drawer) icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Select Settings from the list of options.
- In the Settings screen, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your request when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted from our system.
Alternatively, you may also write to us at support@samply.in to request account deletion. For security reasons, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
2. Data Deletion Timeline
- Upon receiving your request, your account will be deactivated immediately.
- All associated personal data, including profile information, order history, and stored preferences, will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Certain transactional records may be retained for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes as mandated by law.
3. Data That May Be Retained
Even after deletion, some data may be retained in limited circumstances:
- Legal compliance: Records required by tax, regulatory, or dispute resolution laws.
- Fraud prevention: Information necessary to prevent abuse of our services.
- Backups: Deleted data may remain in backup storage for a limited period (up to 90 days) before being permanently purged.
4. Effects of Account Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will lose access to your profile, orders, rewards, and preferences.
- All linked services (if any) will be disconnected.
- This process is irreversible. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
5. User Rights
As a user of Samply, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information before deletion.
- Download or export your account data, subject to availability.
- Contact our support team for clarifications regarding your data.

6. Third-Party Services
If you have linked your Samply account with third-party platforms (such as social media or payment gateways), you must manage deletion requests directly with those services as well. Samply is not responsible for data retained by third-party providers.
